Carrie, our fabulously talented hair and makeup artist, will consult with and prepare you for the shoot
based on your individual needs.

THE BASIC:
$75 for a basic, camera-ready look. Makeup only. Carrie present only for the initial set-up.
THE GESTALT:
$150 for full makeup, hair, style changes, and tweaks. Present for the entire shoot.

Bring the duds you get complimented in, and simply whatever makes you feel fabulous (usually one
and
the same).
For those who like specifics...

• Deep, bright colors and jewel tones (blues, greens, reds, etc.) work best for the camera.
• Avoid pastels, or colors that are lighter than your skin tone.
• Textures are great, but patterns are tricky, and stripes hardly ever work.
• Stick to clothing that fits you well, and bring a variety of necklines to give some options.
• We like layers, especially for men (t-shirt, collared shirt, sweaters, jackets, etc).
• We also like the great outdoors, so if your shoot is in, say, January, bring the obvious.

Laura works exclusively with natural light, so shoots take place both in the Tribeca studio and various
outdoor locations.
